Paranoid Android 4.4.4 KitKat ROM is out for Galaxy Nexus GSM, Verizon, and Sprint This seems to be the final version for the all the Galaxy Nexus variants. This version is a very stable version that includes little or no bugs at all! 

This ROM includes the CyanogenMod Showcase, that allows you to theme your phone with more detail. It allows you to pick and choose what parts you want themed and what parts you don't. For example if you only want the boot animation and icons themed, you can! 

Paranoid Android for Galaxy Nexus also includes the nice immersive mode that hides the status bar and navigation key. To keep using the phone in this mode all you do is use the PIE control by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

PACMan KitKat ROM for Galaxy Nexus! CyanogenMod/Paranoid Android/AOKP

PACMan ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM, Verizon, and Sprint variants is a great ROM for a few reasons. If you didn't know what PAC stands for: Paranoid Android, AOKP, and CyanogenMod. This ROM mixes all the best features from these ROMS and includes other features all into one awesome ROM! 

PACMan ROM comes with a ton of features ranging from lockscreens, to transitions, to accessing your apps so much faster! Just to name a few that I enjoy is the PACMan game that comes installed, Glowpad Doubletab Gesture, and all the custom animations. 

PACMan ROM has been around for awhile for many types of devices and brings you the ultimate ROM that is packed with all your favorite features from Paranoid Android, AOKP, and CyanogenMod all within one nicely cooked up ROM!

Remember this is still in the nightly stage so test it out at an appropriate time! 

How to fix back button issue: If your back button isn't working/stops working going into Settings > PAC Pellets > Navigation bar. Remove "back" and add a new one with the short action being back.

OmniMetal ROM for Galaxy Nexus! Multi-Window [GSM/Verizon/Sprint]

OmniMetal ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM, Verizon, and Sprint is a pretty unique ROM not only for it's features, but also since it's built off Omni which big developers like Chainfire make! The "Omni" ROM has a lot of potential to change the functionality of AOSP ROMS

The biggest feature with OmniMetal ROM is that you get multi-window on a AOSP based ROM! This has never been done before in any other type of AOSP ROM. Simply open up 2 apps then tap on the recent button, tap and hold on the app you want to be multi-windowed and select "Add to Split View". This feature works quite well and is still being improved! 

OmniMetal ROM also offers a couple of other neat features like editable tiles right within quick settings, the Moto X Active Display notification system, and one of my more favorite features, Animation Control. This allows you to get really cool transitions from going from an app to the homescreen, launching an app, etc!

CM11 Android 4.4 Kit Kat ROM for Galaxy Nexus!

Today we're taking a look at CyanogenMod 11 Android 4.4 Kit Kat ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM phone. You may be surprised that a Kit Kat 4.4 ROM is running on a Galaxy Nexus phone, a phone that Google stopped supporting after Jelly Bean. 

CyanogeMod 11 doesn't include any of the CyanogenMod features yet, but it includes the Google Experience Launcher (the launcher included on the Nexus 5) and and stable build that can be used as a daily driver. 

This ROM has almost everything fully functional like the WiFi, data, sound, etc. But, there are some minor issues such as the graphics when changing tabs on the web browser or changing from portrait to landscape, and Google Now seems to constantly crash. 

Note: Be sure to ONLY use the latest version of ClockworkMod recovery to install this Kit Kat ROM or any other Kit Kat ROM!

The name says it all, Slim Bean ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM, Verizon, and Sprint variants is a slim ROM that gives you more space for your movies, music, games, etc, while still giving all the benefits of a custom ROM! 

Slim Bean is only 100MB large giving you a TON of space. This ROM comes with Nova Launcher, icons are small allowing you to put more apps on the same page, profiles (default, home, night, etc), and a new feature I haven't seen in any other ROM called widgets viewpaper. 

With widgets viewpaper you can easily launch any widget at the bottom of the screen using the widget viewpaper navigation button. Useful if you like to check your twitter feed, weather, etc without having to go to the homescreen!

Illusion ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM, Verizon, and Sprint variants is a great ROM because this ROM is completely different from the rest of the other ROMS. This ROM changes the looks and how it transitions compared to other ROMS. 

With Illusion ROM you get a sweet looking Key Lime Pie theme, this of course isn't the "official" look, but still is refreshing and is an eye catcher. Just simply go into Settings and then themes. In that section just select Key Lime Pie and your good to go! 

On that of that you get some cool transition between applications and how they disappear. Illusion ROM also includes neat features like Halo, Pie Control, and your other usual tweaks to make your phone even more cooler!
