List of malware that exist on iOS operating system running on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple's trademark operating system, iOS is assumed to be immune to malwares because of its closed environment, Apple's heavy duty real time monitoring of Apps available on Apple App Store and a very vocal iOS users community.  But a study by FortiGuard Labs reveals that iOS is not immune to Malware.  In comparison with Android, the malware for iOS is limited but to think that iOS is totally malware proof is wishful thinking as per FortiGuard Labs.

List of malware found in the world for iOS operating systems running the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

As per the list prepared by FortiGuard Labs, there are eleven malwares.  The iOS malwares first appeared in June 2009 and the latest appeared in March, 2014.  iOS malwares range from SMS forwarder, spyware, mobile banking malware, keyloggers, adware and password stealers.

The list of all the iOS malware discovered since the launch of iOS operating system for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices is listed below.  Readers may also note that all iOS devices including jailbroken ones are susceptible to these malware, however the risk of getting a malware on jailbroken iPhone is far greater.
