How to Enable Immersive Mode on any Android App! [Root]

With devices like the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Moto X, and others that have software keys it's great since you can modify them to your advantage, but sometimes they just get in the way. They take up screen real-estate when you need it all. There are many times when I wish both the status bar and the software keys would just disappear, luckily for us Google has created a nice way to do that with certain apps. 

However not all apps are enabled to give you immersive mode (fullscreen). Luckily for us we can now enable "Immersive Mode" on any Android application, even the launcher if you want. While with MOD works with just about every rooted Android device it doesn't make much sense using it on an Android device like the Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy S5 doesn't have software keys and only has a small status bar that may get in the way from time to time. Devices that include software keys is where this MOD will make a true difference. 

Follow the guide below on how to enable Immersive Mode on any Android app using your rooted Android device.

1. Go into Settings > Security > and check mark Unknown sources.

2. Download Xposed Framework and ForceImmersiveMode_2.1.1.apk directly to your phone using the download links below.

Download ForceImmersiveMode_2.1.1.apk

3. Using a file manager app locate the Xposed Framework APK, tap on it, and install it. It will be located in your "Download" folder by default. 

4. Open up Xposed Installer and tap on Framework > Install/Update > and grant Superuser Request when asked. Then tap on Ok to reboot your phone.

5. Open up the file manager app again and locate ForceImmersiveMode_2.1.1.apk. Tap on it and install. 

6. Now go back to the Xposed Installer app and tap on Modules. Check mark Force Immersive Mode. 

7. Go into the Force Immersive Mode app and select which apps you want to be enabled for Immersive Mode, tap on Save, and reboot. 

Once rebooted the selected apps will automatically have Immersive Mode enabled when you launch each app. Enjoy using the entire screen of your phone!

Get Galaxy S5 One Hand Operation On Any Android Device!

One of the new feature that is included in the Galaxy S5 is the One Handed Operation, that makes the Galaxy S5 screen smaller so that you can reach the entire screen while only using one hand. Each year phone screens keep getting bigger and this feature is a great solution for the times when you just don't have both of your hands available. 

Now you can get this feature on any Android device using an Xposed MOD called One-Handed Mode. This MOD essentially does the same thing, but also allows you to choose how big or small you want the screen to be. 

This MOD allows you choose the top, bottom, left, and right margins to get it to fit just perfectly when you're operating your phone with just one hand. After punching in the margin numbers you just tap on "Apply" and you're good to go! You can now reach all corners of the screen with just one hand! 


How to install One-Handed Mode on any Android device: 
Requirements: 

• Your Android device must be rooted
• Have Xposed Installer app installed

1. Download OneHandedMode_1.9.apk directly to your Android device using the link below.

Download OneHandedMode_1.9.apk

2. Open up a file manager app and locate/select OneHandedMode_1.9.apk.

3. Once installed open up Xposed Installer app and enable One-Handed Mode. 

4. Reboot and you're good to go! You can now use your phone with just one hand with ease!

Double Tap to Sleep for Android! - Xposed MOD

With some new released devices that are entering the market like the HTC One M8 they have one hardware issue that I don't like, the power button location. This location of the power button doesn't make any sense, your fingers are never at the top of the device. Why would you place a button there? Especially since devices keep getting bigger and bigger you need to keep that power button at a logical place on the phone. 

With the DoubleTapToSleep Xposed MOD all you have to do is double tap the status bar to put the device to sleep. This is so much more convenient than reaching all the way to the top of the device to turn off your phone. It just makes so much more sense with phones having the power button at the top.

DoubleTapToSleep Xposed MOD works every time and I have never had it happen where I was trying to get to my notifications, but accidentally turned off my device. This is a great MOD for anyone who would rather turn off their device by reaching over to the status bar area than the location of the power button.
