Well guys follow the updating instructions and all the possible risks are yours to bear and nobody should be taken responsible if anything wrong happen to your device such as brick.

  1. Now connect your Galaxy S3 I9300 to computer using a USB cable and then transfer all the zip files (LineageOS and Google Apps) you downloaded earlier to PC to your Nexus's SD card.
  2. Now power off your Galaxy S3 I9300 then unplug it from USB cable.

Unfortunately the ROM doesn't offer too many joyful, it brings only minor tweaks and enrichment. But you will enjoy battery optimization to keep your device ON longer and Advanced Reboot also Ambient Display again to save your battery life. Substratum is still in Beta. Therefore don't expect too much from it. You are invited to flash it guys.

Update Galaxy S5 LTE G900F To Android 7.1 Nougat With AOSPExtended ROM

How to update Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE G900F to Android 7.1 Nougat will be discussed and this post is dedicated to users who have the said phone and wish to upgrade their existing OS to the Android 7.1 Nougat. But keep in mind that the update we are talking about is unofficial, that means the ROM you will flash to your smartphone is not a firmware or is not released by Samsung itself. The ROM name is AOSPExtended offering the Android 7.1 Nougat for the Galaxy S5 LTE G900F.

The AOSPExtended is not yet pefect but it's still in under progress and the immediate bug you will notice once this ROM is installed is 1080p video recording doesn't work well.   3. After that you must disconnect your phone from computer.
  4. Turn off your smartphone then turn it on again to boot into the CWM recovery.
  5. Within CWM recovery then you need to select the Wipe Data/Factory Reset.

Because it won't be happening. However you can point your eyes to another options, such as custom ROMs. This unofficial software will deliver the Nougat to your device.
