Get Android L Keyboard and Google Home Launcher on any Android Device!

Even though Android L developer preview has been making headlines for both the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 2013 it's unfortunate that those are the only two devices to get a supported Android L developer preview. 

Luckily for anyone who doesn't own a Nexus 5 or Nexus 7 2013 we can now install the Android L keyboard and Google Home launcher on just about any Android device, phone or tablet. I guess Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 can't have all the fun! I didn't find any differences between the Kitkat and Android L Home launcher, but I added the files anyway.

This process is straight forward on how to get both the Android L keyboard and the Google Home launcher on an Android device since it's just installing APKs. Best of all, these procedures don't require any root at all (except for Nexus devices)!

Download Android L keyboard and Google Home launcher using the links below. Also follow the step by step guide located below the download links!!

Download Velvet.apk
Download GoogleHome.apk
Download LatinImeGoogle_noroot.apk 
How to Install Android L Keyboard:
Note: 

• If you already have a version of Google Keyboard installed, uninstall it first!
• Nexus users! - Nexus 4, Nexus 7 2012, etc. You must be rooted and uninstall the stock Google keyboard to install the Android L keyboard on your Nexus device!

1. Go into Settings > Security > and check mark "Unknown sources".
2. Download LatinImeGoogle_noroot.apk to your phone using the download link located above.
3. Locate and tap on the APK file, you can use an app like File Manger to help you locate the APK. 
4. Tap on "Install" and then "Done". 
5. Go into Settings > Language and input > and select "Google Keyboard". 
6. Now tap on the gear symbol next to "Google Keyboard" > Advanced settings > and change Color scheme to "Material". 

You now have Android L keyboard on your Android phone or tablet! 

How to Install Android L Home Launcher:
1. Go into Settings > Security > and check mark "Unknown sources".
2. Download Velvet.apk and LatinImeGoogle_noroot.apk using the download links located above. 
3. Locate and tap on Velvet.apk, you can use an app like File Manger to help you locate the APK. 
4. Tap on "Install" and then "Done". 
5. Repeat steps 3-4 with GoogleHome.apk.
You're done, you now have Android L Google Home launcher on your Android device!

How to Install Flash Player on Any Android KitKat Device!

This guide will show you how to install Adobe Flash Player on any Android KitKat device running Android 4.4 or above. Due to the latest verison of Android some critial APIs were removed and therefore the regular Flash Player wouldn't work. 

Luckily for us, surviveland from XDA went ahead and looked into the Flash Player APK and modded it to make it working with Android KitKat. One downside is that browsers like Chrome and Firefox doesn't seem to work, the only browser I found that worked with this Flash Player is Dolphin Browser.

Follow the guide below to get Flash Player fully working on any Android KitKat device so you can start playing flash based games and videos! 

1. Go into Settings > Security > and check mark "Unknown sources". 

2. Download and install Dolphin Browser and Dolphin Jetpack using the links below

3. Download KitKat.Adobe.Flash.Player.11.1.apk to your phone using the link below. 

Download KitKat.Adobe.Flash.Player.11.1.apk

4. Once the download is complete install the Adobe Flash Player APK. Tap on the APK in your notifications.

5. Open Dolphin Browser skip the setup screen and then tap on the small dolphin icon in the bottom left comer of the screen. 

6. Then tap on options > Settings > Web Content > Flash Player and set it to "Always On". 

7. You can now play flash games and videos on your Android KitKat device!

Adobe Flash Player - You should see a "F" cube jumping around.
UltraSounds - You should see a "blue bar" going through the "UltraSounds" text.

CheapCast App for Android! - Turn your Device into a ChromeCast Dongle

CheapCast app for Android plays the same role as a ChromeCast dongle, but instead of viewing content on your TV you view content using a spare Android device you have around the house by simply installing the CheapCast app on your Android devices.

Simply start the CheapCast service by pressing the play button in the app and then using another Android phone you can play, pause, and launch any YouTube video you want to the 2nd Android device. Very useful for people who have an extra Android tablet or phone collecting dust.

A couple negatives to this app is that volume control doesn't work and other application like Netflix and Chrome Tabs currently don't work with this app and they may never work. Currently the only application that is working is YouTube. If you have a spare Android device try out this free app!
