Paranoid Android: Halo 2.0 Review!

A while back Paranoid Android featured a brand new feature called Halo, now they've updated it to Halo 2.0 to bring even more functionality to the already great feature! The original Halo 1.0 gave you the ability to access notifications like Hangouts, Gmail, text messages, etc without leaving the current app your on. 

Well, the Paranoid Android teamed decided to add more functionality to the app. Now you can control your music, toggles, and other interactive options that you have in your notification bar without leaving the app your in with Halo!

Halo 2.0 is built into the Paranoid Android ROM version 3.97 and above. As of this article not all the devices have been updated, but the Nexus 4 has.

Wicked ROM for Galaxy S4! GT-i9505/T-Mobile/AT&T/Canadian

Today we're taking a look at Wicked ROM for the Galaxy S4 GT-i9505, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Canadian variants. If this ROM sounds familiar then you may have remembered the Wicked ROM review I did back in June. 

This time I'm taking a look at version 5.1 that adds more features and more themes! Wicked ROM includes multiple feature that you don't usually see with other ROMS, especially TouchWiz. This ROM includes three themes: red, blue, and white! 

You also get the option for cool lockscreen unlock effects like blood, lightning, and fire! You get three cameras: Moto X camera (beta),  Google AOSP camera, and TouchWiz camera! This ROM is packed with goodies and definitely worth trying out! 

Fix Home Button Issue: Go into Wicked ROM Control > Tweaks > Lockscreen > check and then uncheck "Home Wake".

Gravity Screen for Android is an excellent app for anyone who is just wants to have their phone turned on when it's in their hand and have the screen turn off the it's in the pocket or on the table. If you've had enough of constantly pushing that power button this is the golden app for you!

Gravity Screen uses your phone sensor to detect when the phone is in your pocket, around 60 degrees and on the tablet, around 10 degrees. Just by using a simple sensor that comes standard in every single Android phone this is yet another great way to use it! 

This app also also you to change those degrees to get it just right for you. If you have a Galaxy S4 you can take advantage of the proximity sensor to have a better experience with the app on/off screen functionality, but isn't required.
